AdH can simulate supercritical flow (Froude numbers greater than one) internal to the domain and at the boundaries. AdH's ability to adjust timestep sizes and mesh resolution makes it possible for the code to provide good results just upstream and downstream from the hydraulic jump. This feature is good in wetting/drying instances as well as levee overtopping.
