Enable the Warfighter

We support our warfighters through research and development in two areas: military engineering and geospatial research and engineering.

Military engineering

Force protection, force projection, and maneuverability are essentials to the warfighter, and we develop technologies to make these missions safer and more efficient. We lead the way in developing lightweight, rapidly constructed protection systems for remote locations. Learn more about military engineering.

Geospatial research and engineering

Spatial relationships and geographical data play an important role in success on the battlefield. We arm warfighters with the data, information, analytics tools, and decision frameworks they need to improve their situational awareness and quickly gage effects on personnel, platforms, sensors, and systems. Learn more about geospatial research and engineering.
