Enhance Water Resources

Water resources are under increasing pressure from expected climate change and land use change, invasion by exotic species, demographic shifts, and aging structures. ERDC's Water Resources & Civil Works business area provides innovative and environmentally sustainable solutions to these and other water resource challenges

ERDC's state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and resources provide safe and resilient communities and infrastructure, help American goods compete in the global marketplace, improve the flow of commercial navigation traffic on waterways, rebuild locks and maintain channels, reduce the risk of damage to life and property from flooding, and protect fish and plant life. Our science and technology help the Corps manage existing water resources infrastructure sustainably to meet the needs of future generations.
