Multilateral Cold Regions Science and Engineering Workshop
HANOVER, N.H. (May 9, 2019) - “It was great to be back at the Corps' Cold Regions laboratory and to be able to focus on cold issues with our partners from Finland, Norway and Sweden. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, especially CRREL, is an exceptional focal point to help our science and engineering communities discover and develop the salient issues we all face in cold regions. We need to take the energy these leaders generated this week and deliver follow-up actions to assure we're linking Army science & engineering innovations with future training and operations," Ione Cataldo said. Cataldo serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation. She is the U.S. Army principal responsible for the Army’s global security assistance and armaments cooperation programs.
