Dr. Lance D. Hansen currently serves as the Director of the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory. Dr. Hansen leads a team of more 275 scientists, researchers and engineers that is focused on innovative solutions for military installations, contingency bases, and sustainable ranges and lands. The laboratory also conducts research on Resilient Facilities and Infrastructure; Smart Sustainable Materials; Installation Decision Support; and Urban and Stability Operations. Dr. Hansen’s publication record includes more than 40 publications.
