Corps of Engineers updates R&D infrastructure
HANOVER NEW HAMPSHIRE – Miller Construction Inc. of Windsor, Vermont and Thermo Dynamics Inc., of Eliot, Maine swing a 3,000 pound air conditioning component 75 feet in the air and place it on the roof of the nation’s Cold Regions Technical Information Analysis Center here April 12. Co-located with the Cold Regions Research & Engineering Laboratory, the new system is a major component of a $660,000 Operation and Maintenance project managed by the Corp’s New England District. The project is scheduled to be completed before August and is a part of the Engineer Research & Development Center’s infrastructure investment master plan for the laboratory site established in 1961.
