Mission
ITL provides expertise in the science of information, the practice of information processing and the engineering of information systems to produce enabling technologies for the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army, Department of Defense (DOD) and their customers.
Service and Support
ITL conducts research and development in informatics and computational science and engineering with particular emphasis on high-performance computing, computer-aided and interdisciplinary engineering, computer science, and instrumentation systems. The laboratory provides innovative best-value solutions to meet the needs of customers in the following areas:
- Software engineering and informatics
- Computational science and engineering
- Supercomputing research
- Institute for Systems Engineering (ISER)
