DamBot Extends its Reach: Autonomous Robotic Arm Enhances Safety During Inspection
ERDC is developing capabilities to perform inspections remotely and autonomously. Using modified commercially available robotic platforms, USACE can remove inspectors from hazardous locations while still allowing them to perform visual inspections of critical infrastructure.
Additive Manufacturing
ERDC is enabling rapid, cost-effective production of large-scale metal components, including vintage parts, improving manufacturing speed, design, and infrastructure resilience to meet supply demands which positions USACE as a leader in efficient civil engineering solutions.
