Participants presented the planned statistical approach to storm selection, storm and wave surge modeling, and statistical response along the northeast coast of the U.S. from Maine to Virginia that CHL will undertake over the next 18 months.

Other participants came from NOAA, the U.S. Geologic Survey, U.S. Army Corps of Engineer districts and divisions and the Institute for Water Resources, as well as the private sector and academics.

Attendees presented their work in the areas of meteorology, climate change and storm surge.

The workshop participants will remain engaged with CHL's progress on the NACCS modeling study via webinars, email exchanges and small group meetings to discuss specific topics requiring further interaction.
