CRYSTAL CITY, Va.—ERDC Topographic Engineering Center (TEC) Researchers Drs. Andmorgan “Amy” Fisher and Michael Anderson participated in the Science, Mathematics & Research for Transformation (SMART) scholarship review panel recently in Crystal City, Va.
For researchers like Fischer and Anderson, participating on the SMART review panel allows reviewers the opportunity to volunteer and aid the American Society for Engineering Education with their scholarship selection.
In exchange for their time, reviewers are exposed to the current research trends in their fields and interact with other Department of Defense (DOD) agencies and academics.
The SMART program is a “scholarship for service program” providing full tuition to participants in exchange for an equal time of DOD work service.
