ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Construction-Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) project, published as a part of the U.S. national Building Information Model (BIM) standard earlier this year, is being implemented on major Corps of Engineers projects.

A recent collaboration between ERDC’s Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) and the Public Affairs Office (PAO) has resulted in the publication of a brief case study of the use of COBie at the Mark Center Project, a new federal office building complex in Northern Virginia that is host to more than 6,400 federal employees.
