VICKSBURG, Miss. — ERDC Environmental Laboratory (EL) Research Chemist Dr. Fran Hill was recently appointed to the governing board of the Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR).
The EPSCoR governing board is comprised of four chief research officers from Jackson State University, Mississippi State University, the University of Mississippi, and the University of Southern Mississippi, along with representatives from industry and government.
The roles and responsibilities of the governing board include development of a strategic research plan for the four main Mississippi universities and oversight of the project team tasked with building research capabilities in those universities.
