VICKSBURG, Miss. ⸺ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering With Nature (EWN) Program will hold a virtual international Book Launch Event April 7, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. CDT, for the release of the Engineering With Nature Atlas, Volume 2.
The event is an opportunity to celebrate the release of the book with the public and will include comments from Lt. Gen. Scott A. The Atlas, Volume 2, scheduled to be published in April, showcases EWN principles and practices in action through illustrations and descriptions of 62 projects from around the world. These projects demonstrate what it means to partner with nature and deliver engineering solutions with a diversity of economic, environmental and social benefits.
“We are very excited about the new Atlas release,” said Dr. Todd Bridges, national lead for the EWN Program. “The Atlas books are a great way to communicate about EWN, share ideas, stimulate innovation and spark further progress.”
