VICKSBURG, Miss. (Aug. 30, 2018) -- A diverse group of 10 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers researchers recently graduated from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s University Program.

The 10 participants in this year’s program represented seven districts throughout USACE. The ERDC-U students collaborate and partner with ERDC researchers for approximately six months while researching and learning at various laboratories before returning with valuable information to use within their home districts.

During an ERDC-U graduation ceremony, ERDC leadership, mentors and fellow researchers learned more about the collaborative projects from presentations by the graduates. These collaborative research opportunities lead to more technology transfer opportunities for the ERDC making the ERDC University program a win-win for the ERDC and USACE Districts.
