CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (April 24, 2018) -- Katherine Lee recently received the U.S. Amy Corps of Engineers Logistics Activity 2017 Employee of the Year Award. Lee serves as the transportation assistant for the Engineering Research and Development Center assigned to the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory in Champaign, Illinois. Lee also assumes the additional duties of fuel card manager, government purchase card polder, department of state passport agent and alternate time keeper.

Lees' technical expertise and guidance ensured the ERDC research laboratories were able to complete their diverse mission requirements while making sound value judgements saving the organization and taxpayers from additional costs in time, funding and maintenance.

"Katherine's performance continues to be recognized. She is a top performer whose attention to detail systematically improves our organization by providing the Corps world-class logistics support" said Logistics Manager Tom Bouck.
