Col. Van T. Barfoot’s Medal of Honor was on display at the front of the auditorium during the Barfoot Supercomputer dedication ceremony at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center in Vicksburg, Miss., January 22, 2026. The piece is part of the collection of the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum and was on loan courtesy of museum director Tommy Lofton.
