Now in its sixth year, the publication showcases the world-class U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) research that is having a significant impact on our nation’s water resources infrastructure, our ability to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and our ability to address aging infrastructure challenges. In the publication’s foreword, Maj. Gen. William Graham, USACE Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations, emphasized the critical role of R&D in addressing the nation's toughest challenges, and highlighted the importance of USACE's collaboration with government, academic and industry partners to tackle complex issues.
