Threatened, Endangered Species team creates win-win situations for military
Collaborators of U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL), including Dr. Jinelle Sperry, wildlife biologist at the CERL’s Threatened and Endangered Species Program, install towers for automated radio-telemetry of fruit-eating birds in Oahu, Hawaii, July 24, 2015. This research demonstrates the importance of certain non-native species as dispersers of native, endangered plants on Hawaii military installations. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo)
