VICKSBURG, Miss. (June 8, 2018)--The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center recently hosted Vicksburg Young Professionals, as well as members of the Chamber of Commerce, to showcase ways in which ERDC provides solutions to its customers and the nation. Vicksburg Young Professionals is a network of professionals between ages 21-45 in various organizations across Vicksburg who provide opportunities for personal and professional growth through networking events, professional development seminars and service projects. Members range from teachers to healthcare professionals to accountants to lawyers. As part of the tour, the group visited the Environmental Laboratory's Hazardous Waste Research Center to learn more about environmental projects and waste water treatment.
