Capt. Daniel Harder, research civil engineer with the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory of the U.S. Engineer Research and Development Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi, was recently honored with the Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene Award for Innovation for his project, “Improved Low-Profile Head for Helical Anchors for Army Corps of Engineers ACE-Mat." The award recognizes creativity, originality, ingenuity, inspiration and inventiveness.
