ERDC University program hosts graduation ceremony
VICKSBURG, Miss. (Aug. 22, 2017) -- A select group of 12 researchers traveled from 10 districts across the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to conduct research projects relating to their home districts as part of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s program, ERDC University. The participants spent the better part of six months researching and learning at ERDC laboratories before returning to their home districts. During an ERDC-U graduation ceremony conducted Aug. 11, ERDC leadership, mentors and fellow researchers learned more about the collaborative projects from individual presentations by the graduates. These collaborative research opportunities lead to more technology transfer opportunities for ERDC making the ERDC-U program a win-win for the center and USACE districts.
