Dr. David Pittman, director of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, has been named a winner of the 2021 Laboratory Director of the Year award by the Federal Laboratory Consortium, a national network of federal laboratories, agencies and research centers that fosters commercialization best practice strategies and opportunities for accelerating federal technologies from the labs into the marketplace.
