Researchers from ERDC’s Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory set up the drilling rig on the new coring barge. The shallow-draft vessel can reach areas inaccessible to land-based and larger drill rigs, and provides a new capability for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers researchers.
