Corps scientist’s research earns her honors as Most Promising Scientist at BEYA
Dr. Catherine Thomas troubleshoots a pump attachment in preparation for researching ways to combat blue-green algae with standard water pumps. Thomas, a research scientist at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center, was named 2016 Most Promising Scientist at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards.
