During COL Aguilar's visit to ERDC CHL's Soils Lab, David Perkey demonstrates the River-PICS system, an integrated settling column, laser diffraction grain size analyzer, and CTD probe. The system was recently used to monitor suspended sediment size and settling rates in the salt wedge in the lower MS River.
