A helicopter sprays ERDC's herbicide mixture to combat floating mats of invasive vegetation. The herbicide application covered 250 acres of the popular duck hunting grounds located in Des Ourses Swamp and Sherburne Wildlife Management are. The treatment will improve waterfowl habitat, increase hunters access to the swamp and open boat lanes as plants die and floating mats fall apart.
