Dr. Lucy Priddy is the Associate Director at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Her prior position was in the ERDC Programs Office as a Program Officer for military technical programs. She also served as an Assistant Technical Director in the Military Engineering Research Development Area for projects related to force projection, maneuver support, and force protection. As a Research Civil Engineer in the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory, she conducted research focused on pavement repair, evaluation and construction technologies. She also served as Liaison to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology.

Dr. Priddy graduated from the University of Mississippi with her bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 2002 and completed her master's degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University in 2005. She completed her PhD in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2014. She has served on numerous university advisory boards as a member.

Dr. Priddy is the author of numerous technical articles, papers, and reports. She is registered as a professional engineer in Mississippi. She is active in technical societies and currently serves on the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Transportation and Development Institute Board of Governors and is an ASCE Fellow. She is active in several technical committees of the ASCE and Transportation Research Board (TRB). She is a past chair of TRB’s Young Members Council and served on the Technical Activities Council and the Executive Board.

Personal hobbies include cooking, walking, traveling, skiing and antiquing.
