VICKSBURG, Miss. – Julia Zimmerman has joined the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory’s River and Estuarine Engineering Branch at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). Zimmerman is a 2020 graduate of the University of Alabama’s Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering Department with a double major in civil and environmental engineering and minors in Spanish and the Randall Research Scholars program.
VICKSBURG, Miss. – Dr. Orie Cecil has joined the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory’s Hydrologic Systems Branch at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). Cecil earned his doctorate in aerospace engineering from Auburn University in 2020. He also received his master’s in aerospace engineering from Auburn in 2016, as well as his bachelor’s in the same subject area with a minor in music in 2014.
