CERL Researcher Presented N.C. A&T Organizational Support Award

GREENSBORO, N.C. —  ERDC Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) Energy Branch Chief Frank Holcomb recently received an Organizational Support Award from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical (A&T) State University for his multi-year support to the university's energy program.

Holcomb was presented the award by Dr. Winser Alexander, interim provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs, in recognition of Holcomb's multi-year support to the university's energy program. Holcomb received his award during the 2nd International Conference on Green and Sustainable Technology in Greensboro, N.C., Nov. 7.

Holcomb has supported the university's energy program by partnering with the staff and students to develop fuel cell technology demonstrations on campus, assisting with the development and execution of energy related workshops and outreach forums, and providing campus lectures on Army installation energy and sustainability activities and opportunities.
