VICKSBURG, Miss – ERDC Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory’s (GSL) John Rushing, a research civil engineer, was recently invited to serve a three-year term on the TRB Committee on Pavement Preservation.
The committee’s primary focus is to promote cost-effective treatments to extend the life of existing pavements through research, education activities, and discussions among practitioners, researchers, and industry representatives.
Pavement preservation is a key research initiative for several critical ERDC sponsors, to include the Army Installation Management Command, the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency, and the Navy Facilities Engineering Command.
