ERDC R&D underpins harmful algal bloom removal technology at Ohio demonstration
U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s (ERDC) Drs. Jen Seiter-Moser, technical director for Civil Works Environmental Engineering and Sciences, and Martin Page, operational water research team lead, represent ERDC’s role in the Harmful Algal Bloom Interception, Treatment, and Transformation System underpining the freshwater harmful algae removal technology showcased at William H. Harsha Lake in Batavia, Ohio, Sept. 15, 2022. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources H2Ohio Program hosted the event and industry partners Woolpert and AECOM demonstrated a harmful algal bloom removal unit at the lake.
