Katlyn Castillo is the chief of the Information Generation and Management Branch of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Geospatial Research Laboratory. In 2015, she received the ERDC award for Outstanding Achievement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Outreach, and the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service for the Man Power Survey effort. In 2014, she received the ERDC award for Outstanding Team Effort. Castillo earned a bachelor’s and master’s in mathematics with a concentration in applied mathematics from George Mason University.
